Kurbaan

They dint get enough time to do anythin ,they were in a hurry to release the movie. The end result is a lamely edited Kurbaan.It is as if you can here the sound of the clapstick and the director sayin cut. Apart from the beautifully picturised 'sukran allah' song the camera work has been very ordinary.This is very unlikely for a Karan
Johar production , in his movies usually even if the story is stupid there will be stunnin cinematography.


The tale is about avanthika(kareena) who is trapped and used by ehsaan(saif ali) a cold blooded terorrist, who has to get into the States and unleash a series of bombings with the help of his colleagues there. Riaz (viveik oberoi) on the other hand who lost his fiancee' in a plane bombin executed by ehsaan and his friends, is all set to take revenge . He finds out about avanthika, to help her and to avenge his loss he joins ehsaans gang .They plan to carry a series of bombings in different metro stations in newyork.


Saif ali gives a decent performance and kareena looks hot. It is viveik oberoi who will literally scare you with his actin skills and a very artificial english.
The debutant director rensil d'silva is better than antony d'souza but that is not a compliment. The music by salim - sulaiman is a bit of a let down after they composed the wonderful track 'marjawaa' from fashion .



The movie is a passe' apart from the steamy bed scene of kareena and saif which is hot and new. In the end we dont feel much for avanthika and ehsaan , in fanaa the love story of rehan and zooni was touchin and it had very mature actors and brilliant cinematography and lovely music so please dont compare it with fanaa. Here love is all about smoochin alfresco.You feel avanthika will miss him more in bed than anywhere else in her life.

P.S. "Some love stories have blood on them",there is no much blood in their very predictable love story,Oh!maybe they meant Shahid's blood ,ya that is there for sure!!

BLUE can give you the blues

Akshay kumar that is the new name for torture .I have no idea what he is trying to establish .Is he tryin to show that he can get away with the crappiest ,dumbest and brainless movies in this world? He has already proved this, that too 6 times in a row. He could have spared us on diwali at least .


The film revolves round an old ship "lady in blue" which sunk long back with a lot of merchandise. Sanjay dutt is the only person who knows where to find it , but he'll never comply to akshay who desperately wants to get the treasure. Then unfolds a brainless tale , where zayed khan comes in and makes you wanna slit open your wrists every second you see him onscreen. Zayed is trapped by some don or smuggler or drug dealer, god knows who,so zayed had to flee to his brother sanjay and get 5000000 dollars to payback the don.Akshay and zayed persuades sanjay to go for he sunken ship and get zayed out of trouble and the rest of the story is just painfull!!


The film entirely depends on the underwater shots,some ripped off fight sequences from torque and a large amount of lucrative cleavages, lara contributing 75% of it, showing her "dedication" for the movie. In the songs you can see sanjay and lara all over each other,and it as hard to ignore sanjay dutts moobs ,once he had a physique that every guy wanted to have but now i think it should be the dream of every girl ,dutt has been an inspiration to both the sexes. Akshay on the other had is a fish he can stay in water as long as he wants just give him a motor bike to breathe on.


Blue is not surfacin this diwali it is sinkin ,with an expressionless stone like zayed on board, it can never surface. You feel katrina is shabana when she acts with zayed . If you wanna see the underwater so badly just switch on the tv and keep watchin natgeo. This movie wont just take you underwater it will drown you and kill you there itself. The only thing that shall surface is Rahmans music as a requiem for the people who have seen the movie and for those who are gonna watch it!

This was my first non sci-fi movie i ever saw in english.I was studyin in 8th grade
and till then i thought english movies were all about huge creatures chasin you and fyin super heroes for the rescue "come with me if you wanna live " used my favorite line.

Then one day i was watchin star movies and this movie came up and being honest from the name i had different story for the movie some thin like a slut who sleep around and sex every two mins of the movie.So i decided to sit for it.

Then the movie began and i got lost in it ,i got lost in the burnin chemistry of vivian and richard, i got lost in its tender love scenes and i got lost in their first kiss and what i called slut became a woman of love and she dint have sex with him she made love to him.
The movie revolves around vivian who is a hooker and she finds edward one night and at that moment a love story unfolds.I have'nt seen a more passionate love story ever in my entire life.The way julia has carried her character in the movie is just brilliant and Richard is the most charismatic man in the entire world.



I keep watchin the movie again and again ; and like wine its gets better and better with time.

Keep killin the books

They literally draw blood out of the book. The latest movie of the potter series is the biggest letdown of them all. The entire movie is based on the attitude “Everyone knows the story so all we have to do is put some special effects and aid their imagination”. For those who have read the book, the movie for sure is a nightmare and for those who haven’t, you are only supposed to enjoy the special effects .It is impossible to connect with the movie, the entire movie is in bits and pieces.

Rowling has written the book brilliantly and has portrayed her characters in such a way that we feel they exist in real. On the other hand the movie spills water on her work, its picturisation of the characters are so fake that we understand it is nothing more than a fantasy. When I read Dumbledore’s death I was overwhelmed, his last words touched me. But when you see it onscreen you tend to say “oh! The old fag is dead!”. I never expected the movie to surpass the book but I did expect it to show some justice to it.

The saving grace of the movie is Malfoy. He has done his part really well, the resentment, the grief, the fright, was all visible on his face. Also not to forget Severus Snape, this man is the find of the potter series.

There is no fire between Harry and Ginny and Ron and Hermione act childish. Lavender though makes you laugh. The over done love potion makes you sick , censoring very important characters like Bill makes you weep , the list is endless…
The only thing that the movie does is remind you that once in your life you have read a wonderful book called “Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince”, but this is the worst way to remember.

The story........."i dont give a shit".See, when the girl is too hot you dont really care whether she has a brain or not ,the less she has, the better!The movie is all about entertainment and the are buckets of it.Once you see this movie you feel the pyramid of Giza is no more.As the autobots rip, turn, curl and fight each other, you are left amazed and clueless.

Terminator Perdition

i went for first day first show ,MISTAKE!!!!The story is still on the done to death theme, machines conquerin the world and humans tryin retrieve it.The machines are headed by the Skynet, a program i suppose.A terminator(sam wothington) comes ,this time with a heart ,so then there is a conflict inside him between the evil machine part and his heart.This one speaks like wolverine "i'll find the people who did this to me".As in every other" end of the world" movie there is a chosen one here too. He is james connor (christian bale). He is supposed to free the word from the evil claws of skynet.
First of all the name "Skynet"sucks . Atleast matrix sounded mature enough to take over the world and its stupidity was well disguised in complexity.Skynet sounds like a toy manufaturing company.Bale had nothin to do in the movie ,his wife was already pregnant,maybe he knew the end of the world is comin .Worthington was a machine and we cant expect much from him.The only thin that keeps you glued to your seat are the special effects in the fist half of the movie ,especially the evil motorbikes they are sexy!!
As an expected surprise Arnold comes in a fightin sequence.But being very predictable the movie had already done the damage.This is no salvation for the terminator series it is perdition and termination..

The INCOMPARABLE

It was the greatest moment in the history of tennis."Yes He Can" screamed one of the swiss flags and yes he did.He has become the greatest player in the history of tennis.He was compared to Pete Sampras who has 14 grand slams under his belt and never had a french open ,it took sampras 12 years to amass his 14 and today roger has equalled his record in 7 years with a french open.


You compare him to Nadal, you insult him, Nadal is agile ,Nadal is athletic ,but Nadal lacks class ,Nadal lacks elegance.


I say at that moment in Roland Garros Roger Federer has become incomparable.
He became emotional , he wept and he had every reason to be.He brought tears to my eyes and to every other true federer fan's on the planet.
He will go on to win one more and many other grand slams in the coming years.

My roomatezzz

Last year we were asked to find a roomate i chose saurav...Saurav jain....yeh as a jain he is a hard core vegeterian. He wont even let you breathe in front of him if you are havin any thin outside his veg domain. The second important thing is cricket ,he watches everythin in this world that has to do with the game. We talk a lot ,mostly on hindi movies. Ash's eyes ,priyankas hair , bipashas thighs and malikas ........ ! are our hot topics. Then "saurav sings " oh ! that is when you wanna hang yourself in the room , he rapes and murders songs . But i am afraid to die so i join the rape.....

Then we hear a knock at the door ....."enter Arunji "aka arunkumar the e - biz veteran .He traps dumbfuckz like saurav in the so called "lucrative sensation - e biz"...and saurav (who cant even sell sweater to an eskimo ) dint earn a single penny. Ya arunji , arunji is obssessed with saurav's bed , he says he has consummated with it . He in fact lives in the next room with saami but he is always in our room ,even saami is always in our room . I always feel that i ,saurav, saami and arun and saneem are roomates . Arun is in my department and we study together , in fact he tries to teach me ,ya it takes a lot of courage patience and skill to teach a retard like me. Next is saneem ....saneem is intelligent saneem is dumb .saneem is a sensation . HE cant hate people HE is the son of God. He never says anythin ill of anyone , but when it comes to me he is a different person , i bug him so much that he succumbs to violence.... he is too good for this world ,he cant say no to anyone .He is also a well accomplished singer in our room. Saneem goes oooooooooooo
oooooooo o o o o woh lamhe woh baatien............saami on the other hand is the only sensible person in our room but in the end even he guides us to commotion.



I will always remember the day we sang balatkari babu.... accordin to arunji he is not balatkari , he is a balatkaran...you ll puke if you happen to hear arunji talkin in hindi . Anyways i cherish the days with these people , when we sit talk and laugh i always feel one day we have to part and arunji will have to travel miles to empty a bottle of water or salt on my head . When we get busy with our lives will we get to sing balatkari babu again? I will wanna sing with you people anywhere and everywhere.......................

I am an x men fan and i am eagerly waitin for the new x men movie - the origins. They are bringin gambit for the first time onscreen. I used to see X men evolution on cartoon network long back .I remember runnin home from school for the show. My favourite characters have always been wolverine and magneto. The last two movies 'X men united 'and 'X men the last stand' were amazin . No one in the world can make a better wolverine than Hugh Jackman. It is releasin on May first amnd i am waiting.........

I saw a beautiful movie 'central station'. A movie of an lady and a small kid ,how they fight and love,how they meet and part . I dont know what language it is in , I dont know what the real names of actors are, for me they are joshue' and dora and all i know is that they made me cry, i cried like a kid .
